Pinata cakes = Eternal bliss

Here is a close up of the Pinata cake I made for my sister's Wedding

Traditionally the cutting of the cake is said to be the first task they perform as a married couple, signifying the sharing of their lives and the new bond between them...sappy stuff.

I like to believe that the new pinata cake tradition symbolizes the breaking of the bride's virginal state and the subsequent dominance of the groom over her.

Pinata cakes are in peeps
but don't ask me to make yours

UHHH.... I would like to say I agree with the theory.... and although the virginal state is spot on, I am not sure I like talking about my virginal state in public thank you very much. And as far as MY husbands DOMINANCE you are talking about... Puleezze!

Thanks so much for making that Pinata, I have more pictures, I'll send them to you. How about you answer your phone when I call. Love you!

I am impressed, where did you learn to do that???? Very clever and thoughtful. I had no idea about your concerns with Briggs, but you are right, mothers seem to know when things are right and wrong with their little ones. He is the cutest little guy! I love his big brown eyes.

You are hilarious!
The pinata was a funny idea when April came up with it and I liked it until I had to admit it to my friends...uuhhh!! Then I saw what you made! Now Sarah, you might have a new, up and coming business to launch!
Thanks to April for her idea and thanks to you for pulling it off! By the way, the treats inside were fabulous! (particularly the raisins for the "health concious" guests!)
