Briggsie got his first boo boo last week. I'm sad & sickened to say the culprit and inflicter was his own mommy :( There should be a warning on nail clippers: Don't clip while child is awake
Hey Sarah, guess what? . . . I am moving to Denver in 2 weeks. Crazy huh! Maybe we will be able to hang out more often. However, I am not quite sure where you live? for all I know it could be 3 hours from Denver. Either way, let me know :)
Awww, poor little guy! I just trimmed Maddie's nails cuz she's been scratching herself like crazy! When I got her yesterday she had a little blood spot on her nose and two huge scratches on her cheek. It's so hard to know where finger ends and nail begins. Don't feel too bad. I'm sure every mom does it!
Oh no. I had to smile because the same thing happened to Eric when he was clipping our new little Kamryn's nails. Guess what, he was never clipped her nails since then, it totally traumatized him. Don't worry aunty Sammy will give that boo boo a kiss in a few days and it will be all better.
Thats the worst! The first time I did it to Stone his finger was soaking everything in blood. It was a tiny cut but blood makes everything seem worse. Don't worry, it happens to all of us.
I believe every mom who has used a nail clipper has done the same thing! Their nails are so thin, and their skin is so fragile. It just happens! Luckily they heal quickly :)
I did that too! I have friends that did it and quit clipping nails and went to biting (not my cup of tea...) but I learned that the baby nails seem to "stick" to the skin. So, if you kinda peel it up with the end of the clippers first, then they don't bleed. Just a thought...
Hi Sarah, it's Nikki Phillips...just thought I'd check in to see how you are...and little did I know you've had your adorable baby boy!!! What a remarkable time, he's really a cutie. Congratulations!
